Are Gemi and 小岛日记 the same app?
Yes. 小岛日记 is the Chinese name; Gemi is the English product name and the name used for the AI companion. The official App Store product ID is 6475616875.
Begin with something specific
A walk, a photo or someone you care about can be an easier beginning than the obligation to write a whole diary page. Gemi gives words, photos and voice a place in your everyday records.
Writing is only part of journaling
The story continues after you save. A timeline, calendar, entry reading view and Time Machine help you return to ordinary days. #Tags and @people add connections to memories you want to keep.
AI is one possible kind of company
Some people want a response; others want a quiet place to write. This website explains ordinary journaling and AI access separately so you can choose based on your own habits.
